Honey Garlic Sausages Recipes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (I use reduced sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce of choice (I usually use sriracha)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 (12-16 oz) packages smoked sausages, cut into 1" slices
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small bowl combine the ketchup, honey, soy sauce, ginger, hot sauce, and sesame oil; set aside. 
  2. In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium to medium low heat.  Add sausages; cook stirring frequently, until browned.  (about 8-10 minutes)  Add minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.  Add reserved sauce and cook until bubbly.  


RECIPE NOTES

  • You can easily make these in advance and warm them back up before serving.  
  • You can also make these and transfer to a small crockpot to keep warm.  Just use the warm setting.
