An easy, one skillet meal made with cabbage and sausages. A surprise dairy free ingredient gives it cheesy flavor!
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Small Head Cabbage Sliced (about 8 cups)
- ¼ Cup Nutritional Yeast
- 4 Sausages I use the ones pictured below
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat an iron skillet and melt butter. (You can use any skillet, but I love my iron skillet.)
- Slice cabbage into thin strips and add to the hot butter.
- Slice sausages and add to the skillet.
- Sprinkle nutritional yeast over the sausage and cabbage.
- Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, or until cabbage begins to wilt and sausages are heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Notes
You can make this recipe dairy free by replacing the butter with coconut oil.
